A grant to bowl you right over

COMMUNITY organisations, not-for-profits and individuals in the Monto district will have the chance to receive a financial boost with the opening of the Monto Community Benefit Fund.

The Fund, previously known as the Jackpot Joker and a joint initiative of Monto Bowls Club and the Grand Hotel Monto, is for up to $2500.

Applications will be assessed by a committee and grants may be given in full or partially.

The acquittal of funds must be presented to the Bowls Club within two months of allocation.

Applicants must provide reasons for why the grant will benefit them and the wider community.

They must also provide financial information such as receipts and quotes in support of their application.

Applications will be considered "as soon as possible” but there is no time frame for their consideration.

For more information, phone Beccy Wilson on 4167 2037, 0418 718 677 or email montobowlsclub @gmail.com.
