Bulger killer had ‘pedophile manual’
JON Venables, one of the killers of toddler James Bulger, has pleaded guilty to having indecent images of children for a second time.
Venables, 35 - who was 10 when he murdered the toddler 25 years ago - has admitted possessing child abuse images and a "pedophile manual" at a secret trial, according to The Mirror.
In a horrific murder that shocked the world, Venables and Robert Thompson, also 10, tortured and killed two-year-old James in Liverpool in 1993.
The pair were granted lifelong anonymity under new identities for their protection.
Venables was recalled to prison in November after he was caught with the pictures.
In 2010, he was sent back to jail for two years over vile child images, The Sun reports.
A documentary on Venables and Thompson sparked controversy in Britain on Tuesday after experts "defended" the 10-year-old murderers, saying they made "an awful mistake".
The Bulger Killers: Was Justice Done? featured those involved in the 1993 trial to debate whether the legal outcome was the right one.
After the documentary aired, Bulger's mum Denise Fergus, who has fiercely campaigned to honour her son's legacy, said on Twitter that she had "no part in it".
