Burnett River bridge receives major safety boost

A BRIDGE connecting Eidsvold residents over the Burnett River will be closed for more than a month for safety upgrades.
North Burnett Regional Council will begin maintenance works on July 13 for the Ross Crossing Rd bridge in Eidsvold.
The bridge will be closed from July 13 – August 31, with major pilings and the bridge deck being replaced to ensure motorist safety.
The route going over this bridge will be closed to all traffic for the duration of the works.
Alternative routes include A Creek, Winston, Eidsvold-Theodore and Barrule Roads and Rockmelon Lane.
