BUSTED: Woman flies through CBD area at 100kmh
A WOMAN was charged after allegedly driving at high speed through Toowoomba and failing to stop for police overnight.
It is alleged about 11.50pm police observed a car driving along Ruthven St at a speed in excess of 100kmh.
A vehicle of a similar description was then sighted by officers allegedly travelling at high speed along James St and proceeding through red lights.
About 12.20am police deployed a tyre deflation device on the vehicle along the Warrego Hwy at Plainland and arrested the driver.
A 19-year-old Park Ridge woman has been charged with dangerous operation of a vehicle, fail to stop motor vehicle and driving of motor vehicle without a driver licence.
She is due to appear in Toowoomba Magistrates Court this morning.
