Candelight vigil honours memory of Tiahleigh Palmer

HUNDREDS of people turned out for a candlelight vigil to honour the memory of 12-year-old Tiahleigh Palmer.

They paid tribute to their friend and family member at Havenbah Park, across the road from Marsden State High School where she was last seen alive.

She was reported missing on Friday, October 30, after she was dropped off near her Marsden State High School by her carer.

Police have appealed for anyone who has any information relating to Tia's movements, or who may have seen her backpack or school uniform, both of which are still missing, to contact police immediately.

Police also asked anyone who travelled along Chambers Flat Road or Muchow Road in Marsden and had a dash-cam or go-pro attached to their car, motorbike or bicycle to hand in any recorded footage to police.

Anyone with information should contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.

A Facebook page has been set up in honour of the young girl and has already been flooded with beautiful tributes.
