All teams will have a bye on Saturday, May 11 for the NRL Magic Round at Suncorp Stadium in Brisbane. They will also have a bye on Saturday, June 8 for the Gayndah Races and on Saturday, July 6 during school holidays.

The semi-final will be staged on Saturday, August 10 between the second and third teams on the ladder, the winner of which will play the minor premiers the following Saturday.

Tonight will be the last training session for the Central Burnett Brumbies as they prepare to take on the South Burnett Eagles in Mundubbera at 2pm on Saturday.

Secretary Melinda Thorburn urged rugby league fans from across North Burnett to support the Brumbies during what she promised would be a game of high-quality football.

From this match, the squad for the Burnett Brahmans will be selected to compete in the annual 47th Battalian Carnival in the Sunshine Coast on Saturday, May 4.

Round one of the Central Burnett competition begins the following day at the Citrus Cup in Gayndah, to coincide with the Orange Festival.
