Charges laid after North Burnett drug raid
TWO Mundubbera residents will face court over drug charges following police raids today.
Police and detectives from Maryborough CIB Tactical Crime Unit, Kingaroy Rural Crime and Stocks Squad assisted Eidsvold and Mundubbera police in executing a number of search warrants.
As a result, a 31-year-old Mundubbera female was located, allegedly in possession of dangerous drugs, utensils and restricted weapons.
She was issued a notice to appear in the Gayndah Magistrates Court.
It will also be alleged a 39-year-old Mundubbera man was located with dangerous drugs and utensils and issued with a notice to appear in the Gayndah Magistrates Court.
Sergeant Daniel Clarke would like to thank the whole community for helping them with their investigation.
"Without the assistance of the Mundubbera community this successful detection of these offences would not have been possible,” he said.
"I continue to urge any persons who are concerned with drug activity and have any knowledge which can assist Mundubbera police to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
