Coast man stabbed in chest, neck in home attack

DETECTIVES are investigating the alleged serious wounding of a man in Yandina overnight.
Police were called to an address in Low Street around 11.40pm where a 53-year-old man was found with serious stab wounds to his chest and neck.
Police have alleged the man opened the front door of his home and was attacked by two men.
The man was transported to Sunshine Coast University Hospital in a critical condition.
Police are appealing for anyone in the area who may have witnessed any suspicious activity around the time of the incident to contact Policelink on 131 444.
