Council introduce water restrictions in Mundubbera

THE NORTH Burnett Regional Council has advised that temporary water restrictions are in place in Mundubbera this week.

Due to upgrades to the town's water mains, restrictions will apply to all premises connected to the Mundubbera Reticulated Water Supply from Monday, September 17, through to Friday, September 21.

Level 5 water restrictions will be in place during this time, which include:

  • No use of sprinklers or hoses for the purpose of watering lawns/gardens, cleaning of paved or outdoor areas, windows and for cleaning of vehicles
  • No topping up of ponds, pools or tanks
  • No watering of active and non-active playing services

Residents may also experience low water pressure for the duration of this work.

Mayor Rachel Chambers thanked Mundubbera residents in advance for their co-operation and apologised for any inconvenience the operation may cause.
