Council is tapping out from tomorrow

RESIDENTS in Monto, Biggenden and Mount Perry will lose their reticulated water supplies briefly on Wednesday and Thursday for water mains maintenance.

In Biggenden, George St and Victoria St will lose supply tomorrow from 9.30am-10.30am.

Later that day, Monto will lose supply on Flinders St between Burke St and Wills St from 1pm-2.30pm.

And on Thursday, February 21, Mount Perry will lose supply on Dingle St, Louise St and Flora St from 10am-12.30pm.

Council said when supply is reconnected, flushing of taps may be necessary as discolouration of water may occur during the maintenance.

They also advise performing an "air bleed” of hot water systems in the affected areas following the maintenance.
