Cyclist in hospital after colliding with car

A cyclist has been taken to hospital after colliding with a stationary vehicle this morning.

A Queensland Ambulance Service spokesman said the male cyclist, believed to be in his 40s, hit the stationary vehicle on Paraka Ct at Mountain Creek.

He said the man was taken to Sunshine Coast University Hospital in a stable condition with minor injuries.

The incident was reported about 7.30am.
