Driver with possible spinal injuries after crash near Lowood

ONE person has been taken to hospital with possible spinal injuries following a crash near Lowood this morning.
Police say a two vehicle crash was reported at the intersection of Patrick Estate Rd and West Rd about 10.15am.
Both vehicles have sustained extensive damage and have been towed from the scene.
The road was closed for about 90 minutes as the scene was cleared and paramedics attended to one of the drivers.
Police say the injured person has been taken to Ipswich Hospital to check for possible spinal injuries.
