Drugs seized in raids on rural properties west of Toowoomba

MAJOR and Organised Crime Squad detectives have seized a cannabis crop and charged five people after three properties were raided this month.

Officers from the Toowoomba and Roma Major and Organised Crime Squad, and the Dalby Criminal Investigation Branch, searched three properties at Goranba and Weranga on February 7 and 8.

Five people were arrested and charged with possessing dangerous drugs, producing dangerous drugs, and being in possession of utensils used for smoking dangerous drugs.

Those charged were issued notices to appear in the Dalby Magistrates Court on March 6.
