Eidsvold servo under new ownership

THE Eidsvold Bi-Way Liberty service station has changed hands for the first time in almost two decades after long-time owner Glenys Theuerkauf made the decision to sell.

Ms Theuerkauf acquired the town's only petrol station 16 years ago and operated while raising a young family.

Dot Hamilton worked under her for five years and praised Ms Theuerkauf for her positive contribution to the community.

"She always employed local staff from Eidsvold when she could,” Mrs Hamilton said.

"We all had our ups and downs but it was a good place to work.

"She was a strong supporter of local business and organisations, donating generously to them.

"I wish her well for the future.”
