
Eight crews attend Cattle Creek bushfire
EIGHT crews remain on the scene of a bushfire at Cattle Creek, just west of Mundubbera, which began on Sunday afternoon.
Four crews originally attended the scene at 2pm on Sunday, but that increased to eight as of 4pm on Monday.
In a statement the Queensland Fire and Emergency Service (QFES) said crews are currently back burning and conducting fire breaks.
Smoke may affect Cattle Creek residents throughout the evening and into tomorrow.

Residents are advised to close windows and doors and keep medications close by if suffering from a respiratory condition.
Motorists should drive with caution and to conditions.
