Enjoying a round or three

THE Gayndah Golf club had three competitions played across the week, from the Tuesday veterans to the weekend two-ball Ambrose.

Des Randall was the winner of the Tuesday veterans nine-hole stableford played on August 11 with a total score of 24 points.

With an equal score was Di Baker.

Jan Bourke won the Sporters nine-hole competition on the Thursday, with Rob Randall and Steve Gallagher finishing second and third respectively.

The popular weekend competition was a two-ball Ambrose played by teams of two.

The team of Rob and Lynda Randall were the day's winners with a total nett of 60, finishing two clear of runners-up Glenn Evans and Rob Kirk.

Coming events include the Monthly Medal being held on August 21, as well as the Maryborough Men's Open Day on August 24.

Winner: Des Randall 24 points.

Runner-up: Di Baker 24 points.

Thursday Sporters 9 Hole 13/08/15:

Winner: Jan Bourke.

Runner-up: Rob Randall.

2nd runner-up: Steve Gallagher.
