WORKING at the Gayndah IGA for the past five years, Peta Eisel said she has earned her role as a supervisor.

"I'm in charge of the afternoon and closing shifts during the week," Ms Eisel said.

"I also work the registers just like any of the other checkout operators."

Ms Eisel said she feels "honoured" to even be nominated, let alone be in the top four.

"I'm feeling very appreciative to everyone who voted for me," she said.

"I can pretty much 100 per cent guarantee my family and friends voted for me, because I know they're so loving and supportive, and if any of IGA's customers voted for me too then I am extremely honoured I could make such an impact on them."

Getting to talk to lots of different people is what Ms Eisel said she loves the most about her job.

"I've also made great friendships with my fellow workers in the past 5 years, and I've come to think of them as part of my family," she said.

Mr Millington said he was "speechless" when he found out he was a finalist.

"I told my partner and younger sister to get my name off the comments and that they shouldn't have put my name in," Mr Millington said.

Mr Millington believes his family and friends voted for him and hopefully some happy customers.

Ms Young said she is "very happy" about making it into the top four of the North Burnett under 25 workers competition.

"I honestly did not think I would make it that far," she said.

Family and friends are who Ms Young thinks were her biggest supporters in the poll.

"Maybe even some of my clients," she said.

"The thing I love most about my job is meeting new people, helping them achieve their sale or to buy their dream property."
