Flood restoration works to close Mundubbera road
COUNCIL has announced the closure of Sehls Rd, north of Mundubbera, for flood restoration works.
Sehls Rd, which runs from Burnett Highway in O'Bil Bil in the east through to Augustines Rd near Riverleigh in the west, will be closed for a period of about two-and-a-half weeks.
The road will be closed from Monday, March 12, and is expected to re-open Friday, March 29.
Access to Augustines Rd will be via Coonambula Rd during the works.
The restoration is part of council's Natural Disaster Relief and Recovery Arrangements program, jointly funded by the State and Federal governments.
"Motorists are requested to travel with extreme care and responsibility, to drive to the prevailing road conditions and to adhere to signage,” council said.
"Council apologises for any inconvenience caused and thank you for your patience whilst this work is in progress.”
