Have you seen Jamie? Wacol patient missing since Tuesday

Police are requesting public assistance to locate a man reported missing from a mental health facility at Wacol.

Jamie Schaeffer, 38-years-old, was last seen at the facility on Tuesday morning when he went on day leave. He failed to return to the facility and has not contacted staff or family.

Mr Schaeffer suffers from a medical condition and may become distressed without his medication.

Police urge anyone who may see him to not approach him and to contact Policelink on 131 444.

Mr Schaeffer is described as Caucasian in appearance, 190 centimetres tall with a solid build and short brown hair.

He was last seen wearing a blue t-shirt with a red border, grey trousers and black shoes.

He was carrying a backpack and wearing dark sunglasses and earphones.
