Hazard reduction burn to take place this weekend

NORTH Burnett Regional Council has advised residents a hazard reduction burn has been scheduled by the Queensland Fire and Emergency Service for Sunday.

The hazard reduction reduction burn will take place in Gayndah on Sunday, October 28, weather permitting.

The burn area will be at the Gayndah Aerodrome at the start of Adelong St.

The surrounding area may be affected by smoke.
