Investigations into drug and assault offences

POLICE are investigating two crimes in the Biggenden district on a sleepy Sunday afternoon.

A Queensland Police Service spokeswoman said Biggenden police were called to an incident near John St in the early afternoon of May 10.

"There's been an argument involving two men, in which one man was assaulted," the spokeswoman said.

"The victim is aged in his 50s and the men are known to each other."

Police then attended an address on Pearces Rd, Dallarnil, after a property owner reported finding a crushed quantity of white substance, according to the spokeswoman.

"Police seized the substance and investigations are continuing," she said.
