It's Edward's month

AFTER a little bit of the rain, the September Monthly Medal was still able to go ahead in Gayndah at the weekend.

Jim Edwards was the best player on the day beating out runner up Tom Jameson by just one point in what was described by Steve Gallagher as a hotly contested match.

The usual weekly games were still played with the Tuesday veterans being won by Steve Gallagher by just one point with a score of 31 and a half.

Des Randall finished close behind on 32 and a half.

The Thursday sporter proved again the most successful weekly round with 26 players.

Andy Cobb finished three points clear of runner up Bevan Young and Rob Kirk on 32 points.

Saturday September 24 will be a shoot out event and everyone is encouraged to get a partner or playing group and join in the fun.

Also Saturday, October 15 is the Pink and Blue Day to raise awareness for cancer and will be three ball ambrose.
