Jury deliberates over brutal alleged murder

A BRISBANE jury will resume its deliberations on Friday after spending Thursday debating the evidence concerning Shane Anthony Eric Hansen and Dean Mark Wills, who have been accused of murder.

The pair are accused of the 2001 murder of Darren John Britza on the Gold Coast.

Mr Britza's body was found buried under a bridge in the Gold Coast hinterland eight years after he was allegedly killed.

On Thursday afternoon, the jury asked for transcripts of witnesses who testified about Mr Hansen's whereabouts on the day of the incident.

Mr Hansen moved to Bundaberg after the alleged killing.
