Keeping kids happy and healthy with cross country

GAYNDAH primary schools combined for the annual cross country this past week with students from Gayndah State Primary School and St Joseph's Primary School taking part.

The Gayndah Golf Club was the perfect location for the cross country with teachers marking out the course from 200m up to 3km with students of different ages groups running different distances.

School student Abbie Driver is an avid runner and has been for a long time and said she loved the chance to do cross country and of all the students running Abbie kept a smile on her face.
