Simple step you can take to help end animal cruelty

IF YOU like pina colada cupcakes and helping out RSPCA's animal shelter, then Kingaroy's latest fundraiser is for you.

Animal lovers can support their furry friends by buying the sweet cupcakes from RSPCA Kingaroy's fundraiser.

The Kingaroy RSPCA Fundraising Team is aiming to bake and sell cupcakes to help fight animal cruelty.

Karen Ford will be bringing back her baking skills to create her delicious cupcakes again.

There will be new flavours, as well as some of the old favourites, this year.

Orders can be left at the RSPCA stall in the Kingaroy Shopping Mall on Thursday August 9 or Friday August 10 from 10am to 2pm.

The cupcakes come in packs of six cakes of various flavours for $17.

RSPCA's fundraiser will have a selection of Salted caramel, Oreo, Red Velvet, Strawberry Cream, Pina Colada and Choc Peanut cupcakes.

There will also be gluten free options available to order.

Baking request forms and money will need to be returned by 5pm Friday August 10.

Animal advocates can pick up their ordered cupcakes on Saturday August 18 from Kingaroy at 16 Alford St between 11am to 1pm and in Nanango from 28 Cairns St between 11.30am to 1pm.

Order forms will be distributed to schools, child care centres, kindergartens and some businesses.

For more information or an order form email Sal at chamberssal91@gmail.com or Callie at callindalynagh@hotmail.com.
