SO AS I lay my head to sleep, and recap my day, I can’t seem to shake one moment in time. One thought that has been bouncing around my head all day.
When you fixate on weight loss you won’t lose weight.
When you fixate on food education and ticking all the food boxes in a day you will drop in weight, reshape and bridge your yo-yo effect to within a few kilograms of fluctuation.
A general rule of water intake is 35mL of water per kilogram of body weight.
If you are working outdoors or in an extremely hot environment, then you will need to adjust your water intake.
Water fills you up and makes you feel full.
Have you ever soaked bread in water - either on purpose or just accidentally when you haven’t drained your poached eggs properly? It expands, right?
Well that’s what happens in your gut if you drink a glass of water before your meal.
Our blood is 90 per cent water and our body is 60 per cent water.
So it makes sense that our body needs to cleanse.
How do you know if you’re dehydrated?
It’s simple, if your urine is clear you have drunk enough water, if it’s not, you need to drink the aqua. It’s as simple as that.
Don’t underestimate the amazing qualities of water and the benefits that water brings to your overall health.
So stay clear of the coffee, soft drinks and juices.
