Man allegedly raped in British park by two men

A 27-year-old man has been discovered "lying in a park" in the UK after being allegedly raped by two men.

The victim was found "distressed" by a passer-by who called the ambulance around lunchtime on Tuesday local time.

The man told police he had been walking through Goffs Park in West Sussex that morning between 9.35am and 11.40am when he was "pushed against a wall, forced to the floor and raped by two men".

Police believe the victim may know the two men.

Sussex Police Detective Sergeant Lex Witek said the man was now being supported by specially trained officers.

"We believe this was not a stranger attack but carried out by people know to him," he said.

The police are now calling for witnesses to come forward and contact Sussex Police.
