Man charged for obstructing police at station

A NORTH Burnett man will face the Biloela Magistrates Court after obstructing police earlier last week.

The 59-year-old Monto man was intoxicated and allegedly caused a public nuisance at the police station on June 6.

Police allege the man yelled offensive language before obstructing officers by resisting arrest.

The man was arrested and taken to the Biloela Police Station.

The 59-year-old has been charged with public nuisance and obstructing police while affected by an intoxicating substance.

The man was released on bail conditions and is due to appear in the Biloela Magistrates Court on June 27.
