54-year-old charged with incest remains free on bail

A SINNAMON Park man facing a host of serious child sex offences has had his matter mentioned in court.  

The man, 54, who cannot be named for legal reasons, was charged on August 17, 2014 with 15 counts of indecent treatment of a child, 11 counts of sexual assault and two counts of deprivation of liberty.  

He is also facing 10 other serious charges.  

The alleged offences occurred between April 1 and June 30, 2014.  

The man's matter was mentioned briefly on Wednesday in Ipswich Magistrates Court where it was adjourned until April 20.  

The man remains free on bail.
