RACQ LifeFlight has airlifted a 75-year-old man from Kingaroy following a farming accident involving a tractor.

The man sustained an arm injury, including lacerations to his right arm and leg.

He was airlifted to Toowoomba Hospital in a stable condition on Friday night.

Local police and Queensland Ambulance Service personnel helped to illuminate a landing area for the helicopter with their vehicle headlights.

Last financial year was a record year for LifeFlight for lifesaving missions with its aeromedical crews, community helicopters and Air Ambulance jets performing a record 5,252 missions throughout Queensland and around the world.
