Markets are set to return to Coalstoun Lakes
AFTER an absence of 12 months, the Coalstoun Lakes Community markets will be returning on Saturday, November 9.
The markets will be held inside and around the hall, offering an opportunity for patrons to start their Christmas shopping and at the same time support local and small businesses.
Treasurer Michelle Seabrook said the group looked at other market day pages and sent stallholders an invite.
“One who responded was Binks Biscuits from Ipswich who offer regular and gluten-free varieties,” she said.
“Their motto is ‘baked fresh with love’.”
Other new stalls include Aly’s Bra Boutique from Gayndah, which will offer lingerie and clothing.
Karen’s Easel makes its debut selling acrylic on canvas paintings, mainly of Australian native birds.
Don’t forget to bring your Esky as there will be fresh seafood available along with fresh fruit and vegetables.
Returning market stalls include the ice cream lady and Goomeri Cheese World, along with bric-a-brac, jewellery, towels, homemade soaps and children’s clothing.
Coalstoun Lakes-based businesses Australian Natural Online with all your favourite natural products and Hope Farm Nursery with a great selection of plants and gifts will also be in attendance.
Mrs Seabrook said patrons would not go hungry, with the Coalstoun Lakes Development Group providing a continuous breakfast barbecue.
“There will also be Thai food and Maddern’s Citrus Coffee for a hot cuppa,” she said.
For anyone looking for morning tea, the Coalstoun Lakes P&C has a bake stall. All funds raised will go towards the students’ upcoming camp at the Gold Coast.
