MAFS star unrecognisable in old photos

OLD pictures of Davina Rankin from Married At First Sight have resurfaced, showing the reality TV contestant looking nothing like she does today.

The Queensland-based bikini model has created a major stir on the show, after embarking on an affair with controversial groom Dean Wells behind her "husband" Ryan Gallagher's back.

Thanks to her new-found fame, her face has been everywhere lately - but it bears almost no resemblance to the one she was sporting nine years ago.

In newly resurfaced photos, a platinum blond Davina is seen posing at Zoo magazine's 2009 national swimsuit finals.

In fact, if it weren't for the caption identifying her, it would be almost impossible to believe it was the same person.

In the pictures, Davina can be seen posing both solo and with other contestants, all wearing red Zoo bikinis.

Another photo taken that same year shows her posing with other contestants for the Face of Origin Queensland competition.

It comes just days after photos emerged showing the major cosmetic transformation of her fellow Married At Firs Sight contestant Tracey Jewel.

MAFS is far from being Davina's first foray into reality TV. She previously appeared on Channel Seven's First Dates in 2016, and the now-defunct Big Brother way back in 2012 - although she was installed as an "extra" and not a fully-fledged housemate.
