Maryborough man killed in crash near Gin Gin

A 33-YEAR-OLD Maryborough man is among those dead after a crash on the Bruce Highway about 40km north of Gin Gin which claimed two lives.

A 31-year-old Coomera man also died when the truck and car collided about 4.30pm on Sunday.

The drivers of both vehicles died at the scene.

Emergency services crews worked to free the passenger of the truck who has been taken to hospital with serious injuries.

The Forensic Crash Unit is investigating.
