Mayor gets clean bill of health
HE is re-energised.
His doctor has given him a clean bill of health and he has big plans for the Ipswich CBD and the city over the next four years.
That is why it was a no brainer for Ipswich Mayor Paul Pisasale to officially announce his intention to stand for a fourth term when the council and mayoral elections are held in 2016.
It has been a tough 12 months for Cr Pisasale, but the Crime and Corruption Commission (CCC) has cleared him of any criminal conduct in relation to the operation of his mayoral funds and he told the QT he was determined to finish the work he started in relation to the multi-billion dollar CBD development.
Today may well be the first day of winter, but Cr Pisasale has no intention of going into hibernation.
In the past week the 63-year-old received more good news after a visit to Dr Harry Ratnam.
"My doctor has given me a clean bill of health. My MS has stabilised and everything is good," Cr Pisasale said.
