A 38-year-old Monto woman pleaded guilty to two charges of stealing.

The woman stole two 700ml bottles of rum from the Hotel Settlers Bottle Shop on February 10 and was recorded on CCTV footage.

The woman was ordered to pay $189.69 restitution to the bottle shop and was sentenced to one month's imprisonment with immediate parole on the condition that she is of good behaviour for nine months.
