Motorcyclist killed in 'high speed' crash

A MAN has been killed in a single vehicle motorcycle crash on the Gateway Motorway.

The 30-year-old man was travelling North between Mount Gravatt Capalaba Road and Old Cleveland Road when he collided with a guard rail at high speed at 1am on Sunday morning.

He was pronounced deceased at the scene.

The Gateway was closed for an extended period, but has since reopened.

The Forensic Crash Unit is investigating.
