Instant millionaire’s amazing commute

A Mount Ommaney man's morning commute was happily disrupted this week by the revelation he is now a millionaire.

The ecstatic winner was the only division one winner on March 5 and took home the guaranteed division one prize of $1 million.

The man in his 50s was on his way to work when a Golden Casket official made contact to deliver the dream-come-true news.

"Well, you've got to be happy with that! I'm shaking at the moment!" he exclaimed.

"I always thought it would be nice to win a million dollars but didn't think it would ever happen.

"I'm debating whether I still go to work. This has derailed my morning - but in a good way. "This is good news. I can't stop shaking.

"I play spasmodically, but I'm glad I had an entry in last night."

While the million-dollar news was sinking in, the family man shared that his family was at the top of his Lotto list.

"I'm going to pay the house off first - do that and then think about it. Nothing hasty," he added.
