ORIGIN 2016: Inglis, Parker, Fifita could face match bans

QUEENSLAND team-mates Greg Inglis and Corey Parker and New South Wales forward Andrew Fifita could all miss NRL games this weekend after being charged with various offences arising out of last night's State of Origin clash in Sydney.

Inglis is in the worst trouble, looking at a possible three weeks on the sidelines for South Sydney after being hit with a grade 2 shoulder charge on NSW star Josh Dugan in the 18-14 loss to the Blues.

MORE ORIGIN

Fifita will not be able to play for Cronulla against the Roosters Monday night unless he beats a grad one contrary conduct charge after he was send to the sin bin for running and grabbing Queensland forward Gavin Copper after he scored a try in the second half.

Parker, who played his 19th and final Origin game was hit with a grade two dangerous contact charge for allegedly using an elbow in a tackle on NSW fullback James Tedesco.

Even if all three enter guilty pleas they will not play this weekend.

South Sydney (Inglis) play Brisbane (Parker) on Friday night with both players likely to be suspended.
