Out-of-control Harlaxton party frightens residents

MULTIPLE police units were called to an uncontrolled party in Harlaxton last night with up to 200 people spilling out onto several streets.  

Police declared an Out of Control Event in Gleeson Crescent and the surrounding area.

Toowoomba Police sergeant Dan Curtin said at around 10pm officers received numerous reports of disturbances and damage to property. 

Four people were arrested with offences including public nuisance, possess dangerous drug, obstructing police, wilful damage and stealing.

Sgt Curtin said residents were frightened. 

"The people holding these parties need to take more responsibility for who attends and their conduct," he said. 

Investigations are ongoing.
