Pacquiao hints at Mayweather rematch
BOXING: A rematch of the most lucrative fight in history, Floyd Mayweather against Manny Pacquiao, in on the cards, according to Pacquiao's promoter Bob Arum.
When Mayweather beat the Filipino in May 2015 on points over 12 rounds, the fight generated about $500 million in revenue.
The 37-year-old Pacquiao has intensified speculation that another fight could be likely with a cheeky Instagram post - with a photo of him wearing a jacket with images of the himself and Mayweather fighting sewn into the lining.
Mayweather, who has been retired for more than a year, was ringside in Las Vegas to see Pacquiao's return to action earlier this month after a short retirement to comprehensively outpoint Jessie Vargas and claim the WBO world welterweight title.
Arum told ESPN: "Like everyone else, I'm guessing there will be a rematch.
"Do I know it's gonna happen? No. Do I know if Floyd wants the fight? No.
"I know nothing more than the public knows at this point and what I observed.”
But he did say Mayweather-Pacquiao rematch had a "75%” chance of happening.
Mayweather, 39, retired after the May 2015 victory with a 49-0 winning record.
