Paradise Dam caretakers oversee Mingo for holidays

AS DAVE and Fran Saban's time managing Mingo Crossing Caravan Park wrapped up in December, the caretakers of Paradise Dam Caravan Park took on another of the North Burnett's hotspots, managing Mingo Crossing throughout the holiday period.

North Burnett Regional Council engaged GSD Maintenance, Gary Dundas and Belinda Hawes, as short term interim caretakers of the Mingo Crossing facilities following the conclusion of the interim managers contract.

Mayor Rachel Chambers said that the short term engagement would ensure the facility continued to deliver exceptional service and showcase our 'naturally beautiful' North Burnett to residents and travellers through the region, particularly over the holiday period.

"We wish to thank interim caretakers Dave and Fran Saban, who finished their time at the facility on Monday, 17 December, for their dedication and enthusiasm during their time at Mingo Crossing Caravan Park and Recreational Area and wish them all the best in their future endeavours," Cr Chambers said.

Council will commence the tendering process for new Contract Managers at Mingo Crossing Caravan Park and Recreational Area early this year.
