Police seize 22 cannabis plants in property raid

A MAN is facing a number of drug charges after police raided his property last week, allegedly uncovering a cannabis crop.

Stanthorpe police will allege 22 cannabis plants and other drug equipment were located at the Kerridges Rd property at Glen Aplin after executing a search warrant last Tuesday.

A 35-year-old man has been charged with a range of offences including producing dangerous drugs, possessing things used in the commission of a crime, and possession of drug utensils.

The man was further charged with offences relating to a raid carried out by police about 12 months ago.

Police allege they discovered a number of cannabis plants growing on an adjoining property during that raid, as well as a pump, battery and solar panels.

The man was charged with two additional charges of producing dangerous drugs and possessing things used in the commission of a crime.
