Pregnant woman freed from Harristown crash

UPDATE: A pregnant woman has been taken to hospital after the vehicle she was driving slammed into a tree this morning.

Emergency services freed the woman from the sedan after it crashed about 11.30am on Alderley St in Harristown.

Initial reports had suggested the woman had been trapped in the vehicle Queensland Ambulance paramedics were able to assist her while still in the car.

The woman was extricated and taken to Toowoomba Hospital in a stable condition.

Paramedics reported the woman suffered minor injuries in the incident.

11.40AM: Emergency services are rushing to the scene of a single vehicle crash in Harristown this morning.

Reports have emerged a car has slammed into a tree and a woman has been injured.

The driver, reportedly a pregnant woman, is believed to be trapped in the vehicle.

The crash has occurred at the intersection of Alderly and West Sts.
