Pub owner presented with fruit cake of thanks

GAYNDAH Senior Citizens have presented the owner of Golden Orange Hotel Motel with a fruit cake at their annual Christmas break-up party at the pub’s Citrus Room.

President Beryl Palmer said the gift was a token of their appreciation for all Ken Mogg does for the club.

“An enjoyable day was had by all with a scrumptious morning tea and a very enjoyable lunch where all members received a cake,” Mrs Palmer said.

Raffle prizes were won by Jijila Turner, Sharleen Prygoda and Rita Davis, while Dave Wilson and Ms Davis again won the lucky door prizes.

The break-up was held on Monday, December 9.
