Quick trip to town for dog food leaves man without licence

JOHN Herbet Abbott was driving into Mount Morgan town to buy his dogs some food when he was intercepted by police and charged with two offences on January 17.

Abbott pleaded guilty to one count each of driving without an interlock device and driving with a court disqualified licence in Rockhampton Magistrates Court last week.

The 56-year-old was fined $1000 and disqualified from driving for two years and three months.
