Rainfall to continue in North Burnett

SOLID rainfall totals have been recorded across the South Burnett in the past two days, and it isn't over yet.

Bureau of Meteorologist Vinod Anand said the rain should last another 24 hours before clearing up on Thursday morning.

"It should be a cool day today and we will be seeing some associated rain around the area, it will last until Thursday morning,” Mr Anand said.

"In places like Gayndah and Mundubbera and across the North Burnett region rainfall between 20mm to 25mm have been recorded.”

"The further north you head, some good rainfall is being recorded. In places like Theodore and Bundaberg they've received around 75 to 80mm in the last 24 hours.”
