Police appeal for help to locate missing man

UPDATE 4PM: Police are seeking public assistance to help locate a 26-year-old man reported missing from Isis River.

Ilario Viviani, who is an Italian National, was last seen on the Bruce Hwy on Saturday July 18 and has not made contact with family or friends since.

Concerns are held for his welfare as it is out of character not to stay in contact.

Mr Viviani (pictured) is described as Caucasian, 185cm, slim build and has light brown hair.

He was last seen wearing sunglasses, a grey Billabong shirt, a blue Van's jacket, blue jeans and grey Volley shoes.

Mr Viviani also has a tattoo on his left shoulder of tribal art and tattoo on his right shoulder of his grandfather's name.

Police are asking anyone who has seen Mr Viviana or has any information about his whereabouts to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.

EARLIER: CHILDERS Police are co-ordinating a search operation after a 26-year-old man was reported missing from a farm at Isis River over the weekend.

The Italian national was last seen at the property, located on the Bruce Highway, around 7.30pm on Saturday.

Police initiated a search for the man after he was reported missing yesterday afternoon.

An air and ground search of the area, including a neighbouring national park, late yesterday failed to locate any signs of the man.

The search is expected to resume later this morning.

The man is about 185cm tall with a slim build, light brown hair and has tattoos on both shoulders.

He was last seen wearing a grey t-shirt, a blue jacket, jeans and grey Volley shoes.

Anyone who may have information regarding his whereabouts is urged to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
