Man facing serious drug charges appears in court

A MAN facing a host of serious drug charges has appeared in court for the first time.

Milan Sebez, 53, was arrested and charged just before Christmas with 24 counts of supplying dangerous drugs and trafficking between August and November, 2015.

He was also charged with attempting to pervert the course of justice, dangerous operation of a motor vehicle and failure to stop.

Mr Sebez's legal representative sought an adjournment on Wednesday in Ipswich Magistrates Court and requested the full brief of evidence, which included telephone intercepts, be provided.

Mr Sebez made no application for bail and was remanded into custody ahead of his next court date.

The matter was listed for mention again on April 13.
