Stephanie Scott: Cleaner pleads guilty to teacher's murder

SCHOOL cleaner Vincent Stanford has pleaded guilty to murdering Leeton High School teacher Stephanie Scott.

Stanford, who worked at the same school as the 26-year-old, faced the NSW Supreme Court in Sydney on Wednesday morning.

It comes six weeks after his twin brother Marcus Stanford pleaded guilty to being an accessory after the fact to the murder.

Stanford, 25,  was arrested four days after she disappeared and charged with murder.

Police had also discovered photos of her burned body on his phone.

Ms Scott disappeared in April 2015, days before she was due to marry, and her burnt body was found about five days later in a national park about 70km from Leeton, New South Wales.

Police search teams would later find her work laptop dumped in a canal.
