Storm leaves hundreds of Burnett residents without power

AS SOME North Burnett residents welcome the much needed rain, others are dealing with unplanned power outages.

More than 440 Ergon Energy customers are experiencing power outages today, Tuesday November 4.

Several residents and businesses across Abercorn, Ceratodus, Cynthia, Eidsvold, Biggenden, Booyal, Coringa, Gaeta, Eidsvold, Monto, Good Night, Morganville are Mount Perry have experienced power outages this afternoon.

Ergon Energy has reported most of the loss of power supply was due to damage caused by storm activity.

Ergon crew members are currently still finding the source of the damage.
